black and white

Chinese New year pic of my grandpa and cousin.... i think can start to tell that i prefer black and white... less 'noise' in the background, less distractions, goes straight to the essence of what u want to convey in a more direct way.

the more i look at the picture, the more i feel the composition is abit off, i think the subjects are too centre, should have given them abit more breathing space to the right... but if u look at it again, it seems just right.. maybe its just me.

this one is totally me, the backdrop and the 'elements'. feel better than the previous one with the 'kopped' backdrop. still trying to come up with a nicer word then 'colonised'..

Against all odds

this is my try at creating a poster for some event... TRY.. very sad that i didnt take the picture... when i can take a nice 'street' shot, i will replace the pic... haha... but for now... sad... so unoriginal!
