today's training was wierd..... i suddenly was gripped in the throes of a phobia.. i was sooooo scared i couldnt breathe.
even simple things like staying underwater for 10 secs cause my body to scream out for air and i juz have to surface, gulping mouthfuls of sweet evening air. i dunno y, i juz start to panic when i have to dive underwater to pick up a mannikin or even juz to swim under the obstacles.. i juz have to get over this... i mean, other trgs im totally fine, then todae i juz start to sieze up.. seeing the wall looming ahead during 尊严, i can feel the tendrils of fear snaking out and start to claw into my mind, as if they want to pull me into a dark abyss... okok, i noe its very 夸张 , but thats wat a phobia feels like!

*尊严/rescue medly - swim 50m, dive underwater 17.5m without surfacing, pick up mannikin and swim the rest of the 37.5m *

i have this hypothesis on the sudden emergence of the 'phobia'. yesterday nite, i was watching discovery channel and they had a feature on dolphins and y they attack ppl. maybe thats the reason, im subconciously fearful of pink dolphins lurking under the waters of the NUS pool, waiting to attack me! squeak-- roar!

lonely gal

i managed to unearth some pictures i took for a video last year... abt tzuqun playing a lonely JC gal in the video.. hahahahahahaha... the black and white makes her seem sad and her world is without colour.. it was sooooo fun taking the photos... but she will most proby KILL me if she sees that i put her picture here.. lol... her bf alvin may come and whack me oso.. hehe.. but i dun care!
(see how long they take to find out).

scenes were taken at ACJC. the pool shot on the left is nicer in colour.. maybe next time.

if u look at the top picture, the subject (tzuqun) is not in the centre of the pic. of to the left with her looking to the right, muz leave some space for her eyes to look at.. and the lines on the track sorta pulls the viewers attention to the right, to where she is looking at.. so yah, 2 pts, avoid putting ur subject smack in the centre of the pic, and always leave more space in the direction of where the person is looking at. o, make sure ur frame dun truncate the person (cut him off), i left some space on the left of her and the top of her head.

depth of field

o.......... this picture makes me go all fuzzy...... zZzZzZzZzZ...
an example of depth of field. the centre (where the focus was) is sharp, while the rest of the frame is all blurred. this is achieved using a marco lens (short focal length) and manual focussing..
very similar to ur physics experiment in abt the pinhole camera.. larger aperture, more light goes in, more overlapping of images.. hence the blurring. if u have a smaller aperture (hole for light to go thru), u only get one image froming on ur 'film', resulting in one sharp image
